We are a busy food distributor. Our records are spread across email, shared drives, chats and a few old spreadsheets. The same questions come up every week.
Virtual colleague
After nine years in operations, Daniel moves on. On his last afternoon, he writes the email everyone has received once. Neil has a few notes.
Hi all, today is my last day. Thank you for nine great years! Before I go, a few notes on where things are.
The supplier contracts are on the shared drive under Contracts › 2022 › Final. Some are under Final › Old, which is confusing, sorry. For Northwind, the signed version is either there or attached to an email from March.

The Northwind agreement renews automatically on 1 November. Clause 7.2 allows either side to cancel with at least 14 days' written notice before the renewal date [1]. Daniel confirmed the same reading with Northwind in March 2025 [2].
